Welcome to Lafayette

Initially a coal miners' town, Lafayette has a rich history and has evolved into one of Colorado's most beloved suburbs. Along with being conveniently located near Boulder and Denver, the town is beloved for its small-town charms and community events.

Old Town Lafayette is filled with an eclectic variety of shopping, dining, and entertainment opportunities. At its heart, you'll find the Festival Plaza, where many of the town’s most notable events are held annually. Apart from the many options for family fun and activities, Lafayette also has a robust and vibrant art scene and many cultural landmarks.
